     Корпуса для электронных компонентов иногда имеют больше отверстий, чем на самом деле в конечном счете необходимо. Для обеспечения надежной взрывозащиты жизненно важно, чтобы эти неиспользуемые отверстия были надлежащим образом закрыты. Заглушки  идеально подходят для этих целей. Они доступны для корпусов Ex e и Ex d с метрической резьбой или резьбой NPT в различных размерах (M16-M100 и 3 / 8-4 "NPT), в пластмассе, никелированной латуни или нержавеющей стали.
